Tuesday 12/2 .
You present the solutions to the exercises for Kirchhoff's laws. assigned to you last week.
Afterwards: Experimental exercise with Kirchhoff's laws on electric networks. A written Report should be handed in on Tuesday 26/2.
The Report should explain the theory, i.e. Kirchhoff's laws and their application to the specific network. A diagram showing the chosen orientation of branch currents and meshes should be included. Data measured as well as calculated results are displayed in tabular form. Recurring calculations should only be given by one example. Matlab calculations should be documented by a printed script.
Experimental line of action:
1) Read off the value of the resistors by the colour code and control by a direct measurement.
2) Adjust the power supply for the network to approximately E=10V. (Give the value within 0.1% accuracy).
3) Measure all the branch currents. Don't forget to notice the orientations.
4) Calculate the branch currents using the measured resistances and E.
5) Compare. Judge the uncertainty. Conclude.
