Theory on the concept of Impedance, especially concerning the impedance of a capacitor and an inductor
- Diagram of the measurement setup and an explanation of the measuring principle.
- Phasor diagrams illustrating the relation between the current amplitude Î and the voltage amplitudes Û
og V for the two cases.
- The impedance of the capacitor, ZC and the inductor ZL is calculated from data. Modulus should be plottet as
(log(ω),log(|Z|)) and the phase as (log(ω), φZ ).
- The coil is not an ideal self inductor. Find the series resistance RL and investigate ZL,pure =
ZL,measured –RL .
- Discuss whether ZL and
ZC follows the expected frequency dependencies og calculate the magnitude of C and L.
